Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Associate with 2-3 years of experience and an LLM degree to join our legal team in Nasik. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and advising on bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, and insolvency matters, particularly for our automotive ventures and suppliers. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian insolvency laws and a proactive approach to legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of insolvency and bankruptcy petitions, applications, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex bankruptcy and insolvency issues relevant to the automotive sector.
- Support senior legal counsel in representing the company in proceedings before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and other relevant forums.
- Review and advise on contractual obligations and financial arrangements in the context of potential or ongoing insolvency proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and management, to develop strategies for debt resolution and corporate restructuring.
- Monitor legislative changes and judicial pronouncements related to insolvency and bankruptcy laws in India.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all bankruptcy-related cases.
- Advise on compliance with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and its amendments.
