Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Export / Import Executive to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a strong aptitude for international trade procedures and a willingness to learn. You will be responsible for assisting in the smooth execution of import and export operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and processing of export/import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods.
Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents.
Maintain records of all import and export transactions.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export laws, regulations, and company policies.
Respond to inquiries from customers and internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation.
Assist in managing inventory related to imports and exports.
