Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and edit raw footage into a final cut, ensuring continuity and logical flow.
- Collaborate with the director and production team to understand the vision for the project.
- Trim and sequence clips, adding transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics as needed.
- Reviewing footage and creating rough cuts.
- Ensure all edits adhere to project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain an organized library of footage and project files.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques and software.
- Assist in color correction and sound mixing processes.
- Understand the narrative and emotional arc of a film to create impactful edits.
