Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to join our innovative team in Noida. This role is crucial in conceptualizing and developing unique footwear designs that align with our brand's aesthetic and market trends. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of materials, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes, combined with a unique perspective possibly gained from a B.Pharma background, to create functional and aesthetically pleasing footwear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design innovative footwear concepts for various product lines, considering target demographics and market trends.
- Develop detailed technical sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and colorways for new footwear styles.
- Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
- Research and select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing techniques, ensuring suitability for intended use and user comfort, drawing on an understanding of material science and human physiology.
- Create detailed tech packs, including specifications for materials, construction, measurements, and color, for sampling and production.
- Review and approve product samples, providing constructive feedback for revisions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in footwear design, materials, technology, and competitor activities.
- Contribute to the overall brand vision and product strategy through innovative design solutions.
