Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3rd Engineer with 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree to join our dynamic Hardware & Networking team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and hardware components within a corporate environment. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with an emphasis on ensuring seamless operations and high availability of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Perform regular hardware checks and preventive maintenance on servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor network performance and identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and IT teams to implement new solutions and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and network-related problems.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security best practices.
