Job Description
We are seeking a creative and experienced Accessory Designer with 3-5 years of experience and a Master's degree (M.Des) to join our dynamic team in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative accessories for our range of medical devices, ensuring they meet aesthetic, functional, and user-centric requirements. This role demands a strong understanding of product design principles, material science, and manufacturing processes within the medical device industry. You will collaborate closely with R&D, product management, and engineering teams to bring new accessory concepts to life, from initial ideation through to final production.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and design innovative accessories for medical devices, focusing on user experience and ergonomic principles.
Translate user needs and market trends into compelling product designs.
Create detailed design specifications, 2D drawings, and 3D CAD models for accessories.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with medical device regulations.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for accessory components, considering cost, performance, and safety.
Develop prototypes and conduct user testing to validate design concepts.
Work closely with marketing and product management to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and competitor products in the medical device accessory space.
