Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buying / Merchandising Consultant with 0-2 years of experience and a strong legal background (LLB) to join our dynamic team in Nagpur. This role will support our procurement and merchandising operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and optimizing the acquisition of goods and services for our animation and VFX projects. You will work closely with production teams and vendors to manage contracts, track inventory, and contribute to strategic sourcing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the negotiation and drafting of vendor contracts, ensuring legal compliance and favorable terms.

Conduct legal research to ensure all procurement activities adhere to Indian contract law and company policies.

Support the merchandising team in sourcing and acquiring materials, equipment, and services required for animation and VFX productions.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels.

Liaise with internal stakeholders (production, finance) and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery.

Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement best practices and strategies.

Assist in analyzing market trends and vendor performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
