Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations, impact assessments, and sustainable practices within the agrochemical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and existing operations, ensuring compliance with Indian environmental laws and regulations.
Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) to mitigate potential environmental risks.
Monitor environmental parameters (air, water, soil quality) and ensure adherence to pollution control standards.
Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities.
Advise on waste management strategies, including hazardous waste handling and disposal.
Stay updated with the latest environmental policies, legislation, and best practices relevant to the agrochemical sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations.
