Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will support environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and impact assessment related to our import and export operations. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a proactive approach to problem-solving, leveraging business and management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and permits for our import/export activities.

Support the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability projects.

Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and operational changes, analyzing data and preparing reports.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address environmental concerns and identify areas for improvement.

Develop and deliver environmental awareness training to employees.

Manage waste reduction programs and promote sustainable resource management practices.

Prepare regular reports on environmental performance, emissions, and compliance status for management review.
