Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head - QA to lead our quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and a proven track record in managing QA teams and processes within the financial services sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership qualities, capable of driving quality excellence and ensuring the reliability and integrity of our technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest quality standards for all software development lifecycles.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the design and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts across various testing phases including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Collaborate closely with development, product management, and business teams to understand requirements, identify potential risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Establish and maintain robust defect tracking and reporting mechanisms, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
Drive the adoption of automation testing tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in QA and software testing.
