Role Summary:
MTR Foods is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head - Quality to oversee and enhance our quality control and assurance processes at our Coimbatore facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our food products, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and driving continuous improvement in quality management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety, manufacturing best practices, and a diploma in a relevant field, with 3-5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control and assurance programs for all food production processes.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant certifications.
- Conduct regular audits of production lines, raw material sourcing, and finished goods to identify and rectify quality deviations.
- Manage and train a team of quality control personnel, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventative measures.
- Monitor and analyze quality data, generating reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies in food quality management.
