Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Officer with an MBA/PGDM to join our team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the health and wellness programs for our employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, and contributing to a healthy and productive work environment. This role requires a blend of medical understanding and strong business acumen to effectively manage healthcare initiatives within a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive health and wellness programs for employees, focusing on preventive care and early detection of health issues.

Manage the company's occupational health services, including regular health check-ups, first aid, and emergency response.

Ensure compliance with all Indian labor laws, factory acts, and other statutory health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with HR and administration departments to manage employee health records, medical insurance claims, and employee assistance programs.

Conduct health risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and workplace safety improvements.

Organize and conduct health awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions for employees on various health topics.

Manage the budget for health and wellness initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.

Liaise with external healthcare providers, hospitals, and government health authorities as needed.
