This role is suitable for individuals with a B.Sc degree looking to build a career in supply chain and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Support the procurement and sourcing of raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and logistics, to align planning efforts.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, sales performance, and planning activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in merchandising and planning operations.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to inventory and planning.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new planning tools and methodologies.
