Hiring for Sommelier (3-5 Yrs) at Vadodara

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wine, spirits, and their pairings, with a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for managing and curating our beverage program, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the overall success of our corporate hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive wine and spirits list, focusing on quality, variety, and cost-effectiveness, aligning with M.Com principles of financial management.

Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and stock rotation, to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.

Provide expert recommendations to guests, understanding their preferences and suggesting appropriate beverages for various occasions and cuisines.

Conduct regular staff training sessions on wine knowledge, service standards, and upselling techniques.

Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing, health, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with culinary teams to create effective food and beverage pairings.

Monitor market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve the beverage program.

Manage beverage costs and contribute to profitability through strategic purchasing and pricing.
