We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tool Room Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Kolkata. This role is ideal for a candidate with a B.A. degree who possesses a strong understanding of tool design, manufacturing processes, and quality control within the printing and publishing industry. You will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the precision and efficiency of our tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and fabrication of precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures for printing machinery.
Perform routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement solutions.
Operate and maintain various machine shop equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all tooling operations.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to tooling and manufacturing.
