Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Histotechnologist with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree and have a strong understanding of histological techniques and laboratory procedures. You will play a crucial role in preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination, contributing to our research and development efforts in pharmaceutical sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
Process tissue samples from collection to final staining, ensuring proper fixation, embedding, sectioning, and staining.
Prepare slides for microscopic examination by pathologists and researchers.
Operate and maintain histology equipment, including tissue processors, microtomes, and staining machines.
Maintain accurate records of tissue samples, procedures performed, and results.
Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Assist in the development and validation of new histological techniques.
Collaborate with researchers and other laboratory personnel to ensure timely and accurate sample processing.
