Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Cashier with 3-5 years of experience and a B.Tech/B.E. degree to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, managing cash flow, and providing excellent customer service within our steel retail outlet. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reconciliation and a proactive approach to problem-solving, leveraging analytical skills developed during engineering education.

Key Responsibilities:

Process all sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods with integrity and precision.

Perform daily cash reconciliation, ensuring all transactions balance with the recorded amounts.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Assist customers with inquiries, provide information about products, and resolve any billing issues.

Identify and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to management.

Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations.

Utilize analytical skills from B.Tech/B.E. background for process improvement and error detection.
