Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sous Chef with 0-1 years of experience to join our culinary team at our Guwahati facility. This role is ideal for an individual with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) background looking to transition into the food service sector within a hospital environment. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Help manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and work surfaces.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, FSSAI standards).
Support the Head Chef in menu planning and cost control initiatives.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
