Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, on different types of metals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Inspect and test welds for defects and ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the shop floor and in project areas.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on metal structures and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
