Hiring: Welding Inspector / Supervisor | Kolkata | 1-2 Yrs

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Welding Inspector / Supervisor with 1-2 years of experience and a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all welding operations for our live entertainment and event infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and their practical application in structural fabrication for temporary and permanent installations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect welding procedures and completed welds to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor welding activities on-site, providing guidance and supervision to welding teams.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols, ensuring accuracy in fabrication.
- Conduct visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT) as required, and document all findings.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities, recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and material certifications.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and site crews to resolve any welding-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in all welding operations.
- Assist in the development and refinement of welding procedures based on design requirements and material properties.
