Role Summary: Pratham Education Foundation is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Educator to develop and deliver engaging history curriculum for our educational programs. The ideal candidate will be adept at making history accessible and relevant to young learners, fostering critical thinking and a deeper understanding of India's past and its global connections. This role is crucial in shaping the historical consciousness of the students we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate history lesson plans, focusing on Indian history and world history relevant to the Indian context.
Create engaging teaching materials, including presentations, interactive activities, and assessments.
Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage students to analyze historical events from multiple perspectives.
Assess student learning through various methods and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated on current pedagogical approaches and historical research.
Collaborate with other educators and program staff to ensure holistic student development.
Organize and lead educational field trips or guest speaker sessions related to history.
