Job Description

Role Summary:
SAIL is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher with 1-2 years of experience to join our educational initiatives within the Iron & Steel sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their B.Tech/B.E. background to creatively impart historical knowledge, focusing on industrial and technological advancements relevant to the steel industry. This role is based in Thiruvananthapuram and aims to foster a deeper understanding of historical contexts among our workforce and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging history lessons, with a focus on Indian industrial history, the evolution of metallurgy, and the socio-economic impact of the iron and steel sector.

Design curriculum and lesson plans that align with educational objectives and are tailored to an audience with technical backgrounds (B.Tech/B.E.).

Utilize innovative teaching methodologies, including case studies, historical analysis of technological breakthroughs, and interactive sessions.

Assess student progress through assignments, presentations, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with internal departments to integrate historical context into training programs and corporate communications.

Stay updated on historical research and industry trends to ensure content relevance and accuracy.

Contribute to the development of educational resources and materials.
