Histotechnologist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Histotechnologist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality tissue samples for microscopic examination, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all stages of tissue processing. Key Responsibilities:

* Process tissue samples using automated and manual techniques, including fixation, dehydration, clearing, infiltration, and embedding.
* Prepare paraffin blocks and perform microtome sectioning to obtain thin, consistent tissue slices.
* Perform staining procedures (e.g., H&E, special stains) to enhance tissue visualization.
* Mount tissue sections onto slides and coverslip them.
* Maintain accurate records of all processed samples and experiments.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tissue processing and staining.
* Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
* Collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand specific project requirements and provide timely results.
* Assist in the development and validation of new histotechnology protocols.
