Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Histotechnologist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality tissue samples for microscopic examination, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all stages of tissue processing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancements in research and development within the industrial equipment and machinery sector, focusing on material science and quality control applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process tissue samples using automated and manual techniques, including fixation, dehydration, clearing, infiltration, and embedding.
* Prepare paraffin blocks and perform microtome sectioning to obtain thin, consistent tissue slices.
* Perform staining procedures (e.g., H&E, special stains) to enhance tissue visualization.
* Mount tissue sections onto slides and coverslip them.
* Maintain accurate records of all processed samples and experiments.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tissue processing and staining.
* Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
* Collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand specific project requirements and provide timely results.
* Assist in the development and validation of new histotechnology protocols.
