Histotechnologist

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Histotechnologist to join our team. The Histotechnologist will be responsible for preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination, ensuring the highest quality of slides for diagnostic and research purposes. This role is crucial in supporting our internal product development and quality assurance processes within the furniture and furnishing industry, where material integrity and composition analysis are key.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tissue samples using various fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining techniques.
- Operate and maintain histology equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines.
- Perform routine and special stains on tissue sections according to established protocols.
- Troubleshoot staining issues and ensure the quality and accuracy of prepared slides.
- Maintain accurate records of tissue samples, processing, and staining procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and laboratory standards.
- Assist in the development and validation of new histological techniques.
- Collaborate with researchers and quality control personnel to meet project deadlines and objectives.
