Home Science Teacher (Full-Time) | Vijayawada

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Home Science Teacher with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Vijayawada. This role is ideal for individuals who hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Post Graduation Not Required) and are eager to contribute to the holistic development of students. The Home Science Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in various aspects of home science, including nutrition, culinary arts, textiles, child development, and resource management. The goal is to foster practical life skills and promote healthy living habits among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for Home Science subjects, catering to different age groups and learning styles.

Conduct practical sessions and demonstrations in areas such as cooking, sewing, and basic childcare.

Assess student progress through various methods, including assignments, projects, and practical evaluations.

Educate students on nutrition, balanced diets, food safety, and basic health principles.

Guide students in understanding principles of textile science, clothing care, and basic garment construction.

Foster an understanding of child development, family dynamics, and responsible parenting.

Promote effective resource management, including budgeting and household organization.

Maintain a safe and organized classroom/laboratory environment.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being.
