We are seeking a diligent and organized Housekeeping Manager / Supervisor with 0-2 years of experience to oversee and manage housekeeping operations at our facilities in Chennai. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.Sc degree looking to kickstart their career in a dynamic public administration environment. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient work distribution and task completion.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and NHAI standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in the preparation of housekeeping budgets and cost control measures.
Respond promptly to any housekeeping-related requests or emergencies.
