HR Policy & Compliance Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced HR Policy & Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic HR team at Wipro BPO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and regulations, as well as internal company standards. This role is crucial in fostering a fair, equitable, and legally compliant work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and employee handbooks to align with current Indian labor laws (e.g., Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Payment of Wages Act, Maternity Benefit Act, etc.) and company objectives.
- Ensure all HR practices and procedures are compliant with statutory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to identify and address any compliance gaps.
- Advise management and HR staff on policy interpretation and application.
- Manage and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with established policies and legal frameworks.
- Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and proactively update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Develop and deliver training programs to employees and managers on HR policies and compliance matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation related to compliance.
- Liaise with legal counsel and government agencies as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that support business goals while maintaining compliance.
