HVAC Supervisor

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and diligent HVAC Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within our state-of-the-art facilities. The HVAC Supervisor will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment, maintain a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees, and manage a team of technicians. This role is critical for maintaining the controlled environments required for our clinical research operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of HVAC technicians, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, ventilation systems, and control systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficiency of HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards related to HVAC operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
- Manage external contractors and vendors for specialized HVAC services or major repairs.
- Monitor energy consumption related to HVAC systems and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Respond to emergency calls for HVAC system failures and provide prompt resolution.
- Train and mentor junior HVAC staff, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence.
