Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to join our dynamic team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hydrographic surveys to support port development, navigation channel maintenance, and infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles, data acquisition, and processing techniques within the maritime environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre- and post-dredge surveys, channel surveys, and bathymetric surveys using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Operate and maintain hydrographic survey equipment, including multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar, GPS/GNSS receivers, and motion sensors.
- Process and analyze survey data using specialized hydrographic software (e.g., CARIS, QPS, HYPACK).
- Prepare accurate and detailed hydrographic survey reports, charts, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international and national hydrographic standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with port engineers, marine operations, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Maintain survey logs, equipment calibration records, and safety documentation.
