Hydrographic Surveyor

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team. The Hydrographic Surveyor will be responsible for conducting underwater surveys to gather data related to water bodies, seabed topography, and submerged infrastructure. This role is crucial for projects involving coastal development, infrastructure planning, and environmental assessments within the financial services sector, particularly in relation to asset valuation and risk assessment for maritime-related investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute hydrographic surveys using various equipment such as multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar, and GPS positioning systems.

Collect, process, and analyze hydrographic data to produce charts, maps, and reports.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data.

Operate and maintain survey vessels and equipment.

Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and other stakeholders to interpret survey results and provide recommendations.

Adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines during all survey operations.

Prepare detailed survey reports for management and clients.
