Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team. This role will involve conducting detailed underwater surveys to map the seabed and identify any potential obstructions or features relevant to our infrastructure development and operational needs. The Hydrographic Surveyor will be responsible for data acquisition, processing, and reporting to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute hydrographic surveys using various equipment such as multibeam echo sounders, side-scan sonar, and GPS.
- Operate and maintain survey vessels and associated equipment.
- Process and analyze collected hydrographic data using specialized software.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive survey reports, charts, and maps.
- Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to integrate survey data into project planning.
