We are seeking a dynamic and creative Buying / Merchandising Consultant with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Des degree and a strong understanding of product development, market trends, and visual merchandising strategies. You will be instrumental in shaping our product assortments and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new product opportunities and category growth potential.
- Develop and manage product assortments that align with brand strategy and customer demand, ensuring optimal stock levels and profitability.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product development and delivery.
- Create compelling visual merchandising plans and guidelines for in-store and online platforms to enhance product presentation and drive sales.
- Conduct regular product reviews and performance analysis to optimize buying decisions and merchandising strategies.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
- Support the development and execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal buying plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and market intelligence.
