Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all import and export operations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Govern board meetings, guide strategic decision-making, and ensure effective corporate governance practices are upheld.
- Advise on complex legal and regulatory aspects of international trade, customs, and compliance, drawing from an LLM background.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market reach and explore new trade avenues in the global import & export landscape.
- Foster strong relationships with international partners, government agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless trade operations.
- Oversee risk management frameworks and ensure adherence to all legal and ethical standards within the import & export sector.
- Mentor and guide the senior management team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and geopolitical factors impacting the import & export business and advise on strategic responses.
