Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Chemist with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. While the primary focus is on chemical processes and material science, this role specifically requires a B.Des background to bring a unique design thinking approach to material development and application within the Defence & Aerospace industry. You will be instrumental in researching, developing, and testing new materials and chemical formulations, ensuring they meet stringent performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development on novel chemical compounds and material formulations for aerospace applications.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate material properties, performance, and durability.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate new materials into product development cycles.
- Apply design principles to optimize material selection and application for improved aesthetics and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot material-related issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemistry, material science, and design thinking.
