Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Database Developer / Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is crucial for supporting and enhancing the robust database infrastructure that underpins critical payment systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in database management and development principles, combined with a business-oriented perspective gained from a BBA/BBM degree. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and scalable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable database schemas and structures.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across various database systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in database migration and upgrade projects.
- Document database designs, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in the development of reports and data analysis tools.
