Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Dock Master with 2-3 years of experience to join our Engineering & Construction team in Thiruvananthapuram. The Dock Master will be responsible for the efficient and safe management of port operations, ensuring smooth vessel movements, cargo handling, and adherence to safety protocols. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of maritime operations and a commitment to operational excellence. Post graduation is not a mandatory requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily port operations, including vessel berthing, unberthing, and shifting.
Coordinate with vessel captains, pilots, tug operators, and port authorities.
Manage and supervise cargo operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Monitor and enforce safety regulations, including environmental protection measures.
Maintain records of vessel movements, cargo, and operational activities.
Respond to emergencies and incidents, implementing appropriate procedures.
Ensure efficient utilization of port facilities and equipment.
