Immediate Hire: Electrician (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and legally-minded Electrician with 3-5 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our facilities management team in Chennai. This unique role combines practical electrical maintenance skills with a foundational understanding of legal compliance and safety regulations relevant to corporate environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all electrical systems within our state-of-the-art FinTech office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, HVAC electrical components, and security systems.
- Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to perform installations and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant Indian electrical codes, safety standards (e.g., National Electrical Code of India), and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of electrical installations, identifying and rectifying potential hazards.
- Utilize your LLB knowledge to review and ensure adherence to safety regulations, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in managing external electrical contractors and vendors, ensuring their work meets quality and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, including incident reports and compliance documentation.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies, safety practices, and legal amendments affecting workplace electrical systems.
