Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Assistant to join our team at our Ludhiana facility. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate eager to gain practical experience in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within a leading Pulp & Paper manufacturing company. The EHS Assistant will support the EHS department in implementing and monitoring safety protocols and environmental compliance measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
Support the development and delivery of EHS training programs for employees.
Help maintain EHS records, including incident reports, safety audits, and compliance documentation.
Participate in accident/incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis.
Monitor environmental compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Assist in promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned by the EHS Manager.
