We are seeking a proactive and innovative Head - Data Science to join our growing team in Pune. This role is ideal for a B.Tech/B.E. graduate with 1-2 years of experience looking to make a significant impact in the pulp and paper sector. You will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive business insights and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the pulp and paper manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement data-driven models for process optimization, quality control, and demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, R&D, sales) to understand business challenges and provide data-backed solutions.
- Design and build dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques relevant to the industry.
- Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to ensure data quality for analysis.
- Support in the development and deployment of predictive maintenance models for machinery.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights derived from data.
