Immediate Hire: Infectiologist (2-3 Yrs)

We are seeking a motivated Infectiologist with a strong understanding of legal frameworks to join our team in Ludhiana. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations, managing legal aspects of pest and disease control strategies, and advising on the legal implications of introducing new crop protection agents. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for applying legal expertise within the agricultural domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret national and international regulations pertaining to plant health, biosecurity, and agricultural product safety.

Advise on the legal requirements for the registration, import, and use of pesticides, fungicides, and other plant protection products.

Assist in developing and implementing company policies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations related to disease management.

Investigate and provide legal guidance on issues related to crop diseases, pest infestations, and potential outbreaks, including legal liabilities and mitigation strategies.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and legal counsel on matters concerning plant infectious diseases and agricultural practices.

Draft and review contracts and agreements related to biosecurity measures, research collaborations, and supply chains for agricultural inputs.
