Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our IT team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc degree and a strong understanding of network security principles and practices. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the security of our computer networks, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and security to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
- Configure and manage network security devices and software.
- Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance on network security matters.
