Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented News Copy Editor with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic communications team in Thiruvananthapuram. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong command of language, an eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring accuracy and clarity in all published content. As a News Copy Editor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our news and communication materials, supporting the dissemination of vital information across Indian Railways.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and edit news articles, press releases, internal communications, and other written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy.

Ensure content adheres to Indian Railways' style guide and editorial standards.

Fact-check information to ensure its accuracy and credibility.

Collaborate with writers, journalists, and other stakeholders to clarify content and implement edits.

Proofread final versions of content before publication.

Assist in developing and maintaining editorial calendars and content pipelines.

Adapt content for different platforms and audiences while maintaining a consistent tone and voice.
