Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Placement / Alumni Officer to join our team in Bangalore. This role is crucial in fostering strong relationships with our alumni network and facilitating placement opportunities for our students/graduates. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within an educational or media organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and maintain communication with the alumni network.
- Organize alumni events, workshops, and networking sessions.
- Track and manage alumni contact information and engagement.
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify and secure placement opportunities for students.
- Assist students with career counseling, resume building, and interview preparation.
- Maintain records of student placements and career progression.
- Coordinate with academic departments to understand student profiles and placement needs.
- Generate reports on alumni engagement and placement statistics.
- Support the development of alumni mentorship programs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and job market demands.
