Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement in plant performance, with a focus on identifying potential compliance risks.
- Assist in the preparation and review of reports related to plant efficiency, safety, and environmental impact, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the legal and compliance team in interpreting and applying relevant industrial laws, regulations, and permits.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards.
- Review and assist in the management of contracts with third-party vendors and service providers related to plant operations and maintenance, ensuring legal compliance.
- Participate in audits and inspections, providing support in documenting findings and developing corrective action plans.
- Conduct research on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes impacting the metals and mining industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and legal departments, to achieve performance and compliance objectives.
