Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Security Management professional with 3-4 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the security posture of our EdTech platforms and infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
Manage and monitor security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, IT Act) and industry best practices.
Provide security awareness training to employees and educate them on best practices for data protection.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
