Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Shift Manager / Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and team management, with a background in pharmaceuticals ideally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards and output targets.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company policies within the production area.
- Manage shift schedules, allocate resources effectively, and ensure optimal utilization of machinery and manpower.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate shift reports for management review.
- Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
