Immediate Hire: Ship Safety Officer (2-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Ship Safety Officer with 2-3 years of experience and a Diploma in a relevant field to join our team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across all maritime operations related to our hotel's culinary and supply chain activities, focusing on food safety, crew welfare, and environmental protection. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor safety management systems onboard vessels and in associated port facilities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for crew members on topics such as fire prevention, emergency response, and occupational health.
- Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime safety regulations, international codes (e.g., ISM Code), and company policies.
- Maintain safety records and documentation, including logs, inspection reports, and training attendance.
- Oversee the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Advise management on safety-related matters and contribute to the development of safety policies.
- Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively.
