Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tool Room Manager with an M.Pharma degree to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This entry-level position is ideal for a fresh graduate looking to gain practical experience in managing and maintaining precision tooling essential for our textile manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will support the existing tool room operations, ensuring the optimal functioning and longevity of all tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily operations of the tool room, including tool inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
* Support in the organization and inventory management of tools, dies, and spare parts.
* Learn and apply principles of tool sharpening, repair, and refurbishment under supervision.
* Maintain accurate records of tool usage, maintenance, and repair history.
* Adhere to safety protocols and best practices within the tool room environment.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand tooling requirements and address any issues.
* Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of tooling technologies and manufacturing processes.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the tool room.
