Immigration Specialist

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Immigration Specialist to manage and oversee all immigration-related processes for our employees and their families within India. This role will ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations, facilitate seamless relocation and work authorization for our international workforce, and provide expert guidance to employees and HR on immigration matters.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the end-to-end process for obtaining and renewing work permits, visas, and other necessary immigration documents for foreign nationals working in India.
* Advise employees and their dependents on immigration requirements, procedures, and timelines.
* Liaise with government authorities, embassies, consulates, and external immigration counsel to ensure timely processing of applications.
* Stay updated on changes in Indian immigration laws, policies, and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
* Develop and implement immigration policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all immigration-related documentation and filings.
* Provide support and guidance to the HR team on immigration-related queries and issues.
* Assist with the preparation of immigration-related reports for management.
* Coordinate with relocation agencies and other service providers as needed.
