Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Specialist to manage and oversee all immigration-related matters for our international workforce within the agriculture sector. This role will ensure compliance with Indian immigration laws and regulations, facilitate the smooth entry and stay of foreign employees, and provide support to both the employees and the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate immigration processes and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process of work permits, visas, and residency applications for foreign employees and their dependents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
- Liaise with government authorities, embassies, consulates, and external legal counsel/immigration service providers.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on immigration matters, including eligibility, documentation, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all immigration-related documentation and case statuses.
- Develop and implement immigration policies and procedures to streamline processes and mitigate risks.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for international assignees, ensuring all immigration requirements are met.
- Stay abreast of changes in immigration laws and regulations in India and other relevant jurisdictions.
